Deacon’s Prayers

I received a request from a newly ordained deacon for the pronunciation of the following prayers which were not within the scope of the original book.

Through the words of the Gospel may our sins be wiped away
Per evangélica dicta deleántur nostra delícta.
payr ay-vahn-JAY-lee-cah DEEK-tah day-lay-AHN-toor NAWS-trah day-LEEK-tah.

At pouring the water into the wine:
By the mystery of this water in wine, may we come to share in the divinity of Christ, who humbled himself to share in our humanity.
Per huius aquæ et vini mystérium

qui humanitátis nostræ fíeri dignátus est párticeps.

After purification:
What has passed our lips as food, O Lord, may we possess in purity of heart, that what has been given to us in time may be our healing for eternity.
Quod ore súmpsimus, Dómine, pura mente capiámus, et de múnere temporáli fiat nobis remédium sempitérnum.

Incense:
Be blessed + by Him in whose honor you are about to be burned.  Amen.
